THE WATER HOUSE, KSA
ARCHITECTURE 2021
Set on a 2,477-square-metre beachfront plot, the house reinterprets coastal living through water, light, and landscape. A pure volume is divided into three sections, with patios introducing natural ventilation, daylight, and moments of privacy. Water flows throughout the residence, reinforcing a sense of continuity between interior and exterior spaces. The entrance creates a memorable first impression, while the landscape extends the architecture into its surroundings. A lattice envelope filters views and sunlight during the day, transforming into a luminous skin at night. The design balances clarity and complexity, combining elegance, functionality, and a strong connection to the sea and climate.
