The Water House, Al-Khobar – KSA
COASTAL LIVING REDEFINED THROUGH LAYERED VOLUMES AND PASSIVE DESIGN

Set on a coastal plot of 2,477 m², this residential project embraces the constraints of its urban context to propose a bold reinterpretation of beachfront living. Water becomes the central element, flowing throughout the home to enhance the experience of movement, openness, and connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. The architecture balances clarity and intricacy, structured around a pure volume divided into three parts with integrated patios for light and ventilation. A dramatic entrance sets the tone for a fluid spatial journey, while the landscape is designed as an organic extension of the home. A lattice envelope provides transparency by day and a play of light by night, merging elegance, function, and a deep connection to the natural surroundings.
