Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety at Work Policy

ELIA has defined its Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Policy, which is available to the entire company for its knowledge and consultation in the company’s computer system, as follows:

ELIA in the development of its activity THE MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF PROJECTS RELATED TO ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURE and on its way to excellence, will have the necessary means to measure and continuously increase the satisfaction of its customers, covering their needs and expectations, and providing a quality service, as well as the collection of complaints that may be generated in the development of its activity.

ELIA’s MISSION: ‘To provide the best solution in the projects we develop’, in order to achieve the VISION of ‘Becoming the leading consultancy firm specializing in engineering and architecture projects’

    • The life, physical integrity and health of the company’s personnel are rights whose protection must be a constant in the daily work of all the people who work in ENTERPRISE FOR LARGE INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE, S.L. and especially of those who, at one level or another and in one or another job position, exercise command functions.
    • Because we consider that people are the most important asset of our company, this Management wants to establish a preventive policy that goes towards a model of integrated and participative prevention.
    • Based on the principle that all accidents, incidents and occupational illnesses can and should be avoided, the company is committed to achieving a high level of occupational health and safety, not only by complying with current legislation on the subject, but also by carrying out actions to raise the level of protection of the company’s personnel, if necessary.
    • The line of command will assume and promote the integration of safety in the production process, establishing as a basic principle that the best productivity is achieved with the highest safety, since it should not be forgotten that the conservation of material and human resources is a fundamental element to reduce cost.
    • In order to promote safe conduct in the activities carried out, company personnel will be provided with all existing information on the risks inherent to their work, as well as the necessary training on the means and measures to be adopted for their correct prevention.
    • Similarly, the participation of all company personnel will be promoted in matters related to the prevention of risks at work, as they are the ones who know in greater depth the details of the tasks they perform, and therefore are the best placed to contribute ideas on the safest way to carry them out.
    • In order to achieve an effective implementation of the occupational risk prevention policy, the necessary resources will be allocated and their use will be properly planned.
    • The Occupational Risk Prevention Plan will be developed, applied and kept up to date.
    • Finally, it is a firm commitment of this company to integrate prevention into the organizational structure of the company, in order to ensure that prevention is not alien to the organization, thus seeking more than mere compliance with certain requirements of a basically documentary nature.
    • Comply with legal, regulatory, environmental and other requirements to which the company subscribes.
    • Manage, develop and take advantage of the human value of its staff, at an individual level and promoting the formation of work teams. It is ELIA’s intention to form a stable and adequately trained workforce, providing the necessary resources to improve their training.
    • To update information aimed at improving customer service and its activity.
    • Manage and continuously improve its processes by systematizing, analyzing and improving them and will adapt its policy to new environmental requirements, the environment and the progress achieved.
    • Maintain a respectful attitude towards the environment, constantly reducing the environmental impact that its processes may generate.
    • Annually review and/or establish quality and environmental objectives based on the results obtained in previous years.
    • To provide customers with appropriate information and advice on the services provided and products offered.
    • Protection of the environmental, waste management and pollution prevention.

    As a general rule, the Quality Environmental and Health and Safety at Work Policy is reviewed and adapted to the annual Strategic Plans of the Company.
