DUAL VOLUMES AND A SHARED PLAZA REDEFINING URBAN THRESHOLDS IN SANTIAGO

Rooted in the existing urban fabric along the Apoquindo/Alonso de Córdova axis, the project introduces two distinct yet interconnected buildings—one dedicated to office use and the other to hotel-residential functions. A shared bridge at level five unites them, offering common amenities while maintaining autonomy. At ground level, a generous public plaza opens the interior of the block to the city, enhancing permeability and redefining thresholds between public and private space. The buildings’ volumes are oriented to frame views toward the Andes and Cerro Manquehue, while ensuring seamless integration with nearby metro infrastructure. The architectural expression combines transparency and solidity, balancing glass façades with structural concrete and steel to create a unified, contextually responsive identity.
